A group of three girls were raped by a group of knife and gun wielding men while they were on their way home from a street bash at 2am.

Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba, the Limpopo police spokesperson, provided details of the incident, stating that three young girls, aged 13, 14, and 16, were attacked by a group of unknown men armed with weapons in the early hours of the morning.

The girls were accompanied by three boys who, upon seeing the assailants, fled the scene, leaving the girls at the mercy of their attackers.

The victims were taken to a nearby RDP house where they were subjected to multiple acts of rape before being released.

The trauma and horror that these young girls must have experienced is unimaginable, and it is essential that the perpetrators are brought to justice swiftly.
