This couple is definitely where the danger is. Thabo Bester and Dr. Nandipha’s love story is the most scandalous story that the country has ever seen. Take a look at how this couple conniving couple met years back.
In 2006 Dr. Nandipha met Thabo Bester while she was studying at Wits University. It is alleged that Bester was running a modeling and promotions agency, and Nandipha was one of the agency’s promotion girls. The same agency he was also used to lure, rape, and rob women.
There is no documentation of what happened for the next 5 years. It is however alleged that in 2011 Dr. Nandipha lost contact with Bester. Two years later, in 2013, she graduated from Wits University.

The pretty Dr. is book smart and holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Biomedical Sciences, a Bachelor of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Surgery. Seems like she is not too smart when it comes to choosing the right man.
Dr. Nandipha looks for Bester
In 2013 she also got married to Dr. Mkhuseli Magudumana. From 2014 to 2015 Dr. Nandipha had things going well for herself and was working at Edenvale Hospital. From 2016 to 2017 she worked at the Far East Rand Hospital. She then opened Optimum Medical Solutions and began reaching out to Bester. At the time Bester was already in prison and soon after reaching out, she started visiting him.
In 2018 the successful Dr. earned a spot in the Mail and Guardian’s Youth South African list.
Things started to take a dark turn in 2018 when Dr. Nandipha wrote an affidavit stating that she got engaged to Bester.
In May 2021 the Health Professions Council of South Africa suspended Dr. Nandipha from practicing as a doctor. Nothing sinister, it was because she failed to pay her annual fees. Was she saving up for the great escape?

It is said that in the same year, Bester and Dr. Nandipha allegedly founded a property renovation company Arum Properties.
On 3 May 2022, Bester was declared dead at the Mangaung Correctional facility. It was reported that his cell got burned and so did he.
On 6 May the body alleged to be that of Thabo Bester was collected from the state morgue by Dr. Nandipha, who claimed to be his customary wife. She took the body to a mortuary in Soweto, the body was later confiscated.
On 19 May she approached the Gauteng High Court requesting the body be returned to her. The following month, Dr. Nandipha was seen with Thabo Bester at Woolworths in Sandton City, and photos of them were taken.
In August 2022 Arum Properties hosted a Women in Property brunch in Hyde Park.
The couple gets exposed
On 16 March 2023, Groundup reported that Bester was seen shopping in Sandton in June 2022 together with Dr. Nandipha’s daughter and a person who had their back to the camera appeared to be the dead man himself. This was the beginning of their troubles.
On 21 March 2023, it was reported that Dr. Nandipha and Thabo Bester had fled the Hyde Park mansion that they were renting. Soon after that, she announced via Instagram that she would be opening her practice on 29 March.
On 29 March she was a no-show and her father confirmed to ENCA that she had gone into hiding.
In April 2023 the South African Crime Intelligence officers tracked Thabo Bester to Tanzania, where they monitored him for a while before pouncing on Friday night, 7 April. It was indeed a good Friday.
Bester was arrested in Arusha together with Dr. Nandipha Magudumana and a Mozambican national who was allegedly assisting them.
