Terry Pheto responds to fraud allegations

Actress Terry Pheto declares, “I am dismayed to learn that I am the focus of an SIU investigation investigating claims of fraud connected to funding by the National Lotteries.”

One of the people connected to the lottery fraud was Moitheri Pheto, also referred to as Terry Pheto by many. On Saturday, the actress posted a brief message to her social media accounts in which she denied the fraud claims brought against her.

“I am saddened to hear I am the target of an SIU investigation on charges of fraud connected to funding by the National Lotteries,” her statement begins. I state to have had no part in the reported scam that has been publicised.

“I also was not previously aware of a request for a preservation order against me, and I have not seen this order. I respect the law greatly and will cooperate fully honestly and openly with this investigation.

“I’m having a tough time right now. I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their continuous expressions of encouragement.
