Teenage girl reported missing
A teenage girl has been missing for the last seven days. The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) has been tasked with finding her.
Riya Haniff (17) has not been seen or heard from since Sunday 4 September 2022. She went missing from her Phoenix, Kwazulu Natal, home. She was last seen wearing a set of pink pajamas, going barefoot, at 14:05.
Haniff is short in stature and has long blonde-streaked hair. She has two little birthmarks on her left cheek, a fair complexion, and a slim physique. Her shoe size is two and she has a nose ring. She was being homeschooled at the time of her disappearance but had previously attended Lenarea Secondary School in Lenham Drive, Phoenix.
Her mother received a call from a private number on Wednesday at 10:05 (7/09/2022) despite her parents seizing her phone. She was advised that Riya, who would turn 18 on October 16th, did not want to be found. Her mother believes her teenage girl was forced to make the call.
Phoenix SAPS OB No. 306/09/2022 and Reference 02/09/2022 have both been used to report Haniff as missing.
Call Reaction Unit SA at 0861234333 or Prem Balram (RUSA) at 0721706100 if you have any information concerning Riya Haniff’s location.
