The two artists teamed up for the track “Casino” in 2020, and the collaboration received mixed reactions from fans.

What Sho Madjozi said about working with AKA

Madjozi emphasized that it was Super Mega that welcomed her warmly in her early days in the industry.

“He was one of the industry people to show me respect in the whole industry absolutely. But he was also quite a difficult person. I think at the time I really struggled, you look back and you’re like I get it, and if you can hear the music was so timeless, but we fought,” she said

Madjozi explained why she repeated her part in “Casino.” She said her and AKA had a big disagreement about how she should sing in the song.

“If you listen to my verse, there’s a reason why it played like three times on the song because I only did like eight bars, I didn’t finish my verse because we fought before I finished,”
