Sead Ramovic receives new job offer after leaving TS Galaxy

Sead Ramovic, the former coach of South Africa’s TS Galaxy, has quickly received a new job offer after resigning from the club. His departure came as a surprise to many, especially since he announced it unexpectedly during a live post-match interview.

Ramovic’s Sudden Resignation Sparks Speculation

The 45-year-old coach left TS Galaxy after a successful three years at the helm. He explained that personal reasons, particularly wanting to spend more time with his family, led to his decision. Ramovic also mentioned the constant changes in the squad as a challenge, though he achieved notable success at the club. Under his leadership, TS Galaxy sold 12 players to top clubs, earning over R40 million in the past two seasons.

“We sold 12 players to the best teams in our league. I think, if I’m not mistaken, the club got around more than R40 million for these players in the last two seasons; it’s just amazing,” he said.

Ramovic stated that he is now waiting for the right job offer to come along. He explained that it is tough to rebuild a team every year, especially after losing key players. “In the end, I would like to win something. If you sell every year, half of your team and start from scratch again, it’s not that easy. It takes a lot of energy, but I just go now the other way and try to wait for the right offer, right club,” he added.Sead Ramovic on leaving TS Galaxy: Not easy to win something if you sell half of your team

According to reliable sources, Botswana’s Township Rollers, a top club in the Premier League, is interested in hiring Ramovic.

The club is aiming to return to its former success and is looking for an experienced coach to help them achieve this. Rollers have been struggling to beat their rivals, Jwaneng Galaxy, who have won the league title for the last two years.

The Rollers recently visited Young Africans in Tanzania to study their success, and they are now considering Ramovic for the job. However, it seems Ramovic is not rushing to accept the position.

Currently, Teenage Mpote, who led Rollers to a league title in 2017 as an interim coach, is in charge. Under Mpote, the team has played five league matches this season, winning three, losing one, and drawing one.

Ramovic Wants to Spend Time with Family

Ramovic also shared that his decision to leave TS Galaxy was partly due to his desire to spend more time with his aging parents. “I would like to spend more time with my parents because they are older,” he said. His father is 76, and Ramovic wants to cherish the time he has left with him and his family.

“So it’s time to spend time with them, and then it’s time to see them, and we are happy,” he added, explaining his focus on family.
