Sangoma Boity Thulo causes a stir as she goes to church for the first time in 7 years

South African rapper and businesswoman Boity Thulo recently took to Twitter to share her decision to attend church voluntarily for the first time in seven year.

Seeking advice from her followers on what to wear, Boity’s announcement sparked a mix of reactions from fans and critics alike.

“Going to church tomorrow, voluntarily for the first time in 7 years… to the rest, what should I wear?” Boity tweeted, inviting responses from her social media community.

The rapper’s candid admission about her upcoming church visit after a prolonged absence resonated with many, igniting a conversation about faith, personal journeys, and self-expression.

In 2018, Boity revealed that she had embraced her calling as a sangoma, a traditional healer in South African culture.

Despite her spiritual journey, she clarified that she was not actively practicing as a traditional healer.

The announcement of her ancestral calling marked a significant milestone in her life, reflecting her deep connection to her cultural heritage and spiritual beliefs.

“They Called. I Answered. The Proudest‚ most Incredible day of my life. A Beautiful Gift that I will never take for granted,” Boity shared in a post years ago, celebrating her initiation into ancestral spirituality with the hashtags #ThokozaGogo and #KgosigadiDabulamanzi.
