Sangoma and his crew caught digging up graves
Something is unsettling about being in a cemetery during the night, especially digging up dead people’s bones. It all sounds like a horror movie, however, there are some people brave enough to do this in real life. A sangoma and his crew were caught digging up graves in the middle of the night.
According to reports, security guards working the night shift at a cemetery complained to Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) regional officers on 15 July 2022, about people digging up graves.
The police arrived at the cemetery right away. When the police arrived, they discovered three people excavating inside the grave. When the three suspects were questioned, they were unable to explain their actions or where they got permission to dig up the graves.
Sangoma was one of the three suspects. They were allegedly searching for bones of dead people for a variety of reasons. The suspects attempted to give an R1 500 bribe. They were then taken into custody on charges of breaking graveyard rules, malicious property damage, and bribery.
It is apparent that the sangoma was planning to make muti with the human bones. Over the years many sangomas have been arrested for killing people to use their body parts for muti.
