Man dies at a Health Centre

The patient had reportedly been in severe pain and needed immediate medical attention at the clinic’s casualty ward around 5 AM on 22 April 2024. However, witnesses claim that the patient was turned away by security guards and instructed to join the queue.

The patient ultimately died while waiting in the queue, a tragic event that has raised serious concerns about the treatment and care provided health care centres.

Witnesses expressed their anger at the actions of the security guards, stating that the patient should have received immediate attention given his state at the time.

The health centre, and Mahatma Ghandi Hospital, are known as “centres of death” by some residents of the area.
