PSL confirms Carling Knockout Cup semi-final draw and final venue
The PSL has completed the draw for the semi-finals of the 2024/25 Carling
Knockout Cup and revealed the venue for the final match following an exciting round of quarter-finals on Sunday, 3 November.
The draw took place after the Marumo Gallants versus Stellenbosch FC match and was broadcast live on SuperSport Channel 202 and SABC Sport.
The thrilling quarter-finals kicked off on Saturday, 2 November, with Richards Bay FC defeating Cape Town City FC 5-4 on penalties after a grueling 120 minutes at King Zwelithini Stadium to secure their place in the semi-finals.
Later that evening, Kaizer Chiefs faced a heavy defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns, losing 4-0 in a sold-out match at FNB Stadium. On Sunday afternoon, TS Galaxy lost 1-0 to Magesi FC. Magesi, coached by Clinton Larsen, made their debut in this cup competition at Orlando Stadium, having previously eliminated Orlando Pirates in the first round. The final quarter-final match saw Gallants overcome defending champions Stellenbosch 1-0 at Dr Molemela Stadium.
Draw Procedure by the PSL:
a) The semi-final draw was unseeded, following the Carling Knockout competition rules.
b) All four club names were placed into a single bowl for the draw.
c) The first ball drawn indicated the home team for the first fixture, while the second ball represented the away team. This process was repeated to confirm the second fixture.
PSL Confirms Carling Knockout Cup Final Venue
The final of the Carling Knockout will take place at Toyota Stadium on Saturday, 23 November 2024.
The semi-finalists—Natal Rich Boyz, Bafana Ba Style, Bahlabane ba Ntwa, and Dikwena tsa Meetse—will compete for a place in the finals.

The semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of 9th and 10th November 2024.
The PSL will announce the kick-off times and venues for these matches in due course.
