Orlando Pirates Target Talented 22 Year Old Striker
A transfer tug-of-war is brewing between South African football giants Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns
Both clubs are reportedly eyeing the same targets in the upcoming January transfer window.
While the competition for Sekhukhune United winger Elias Mokwana is already heating up, the latest reports suggest that the rivalry is set to extend beyond local borders.

According to recent updates from Soccer-Laduma, Orlando Pirates seems to have gained the upper hand in the pursuit of Boyeli.
Boyeli currently plays his in Zambia with Power Dynamos.
Insiders reveal that Pirates are leading the race to secure the services of the talented striker, outpacing their rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns.

The sources said:
“The team is looking at releasing some strikers, including foreign strikers which will open up space for (Andy) Boyeli to come to the country and probably join the team.
“It’s not a deal yet but Pirates are in front compared to Sundowns,” stated a source close to the matter.”
Another source highlighted the dissatisfaction within the Pirates striking department, stating:
“You see Kermit (Erasmus) is injured, and the other two strikers are really not contributing to the team, and that’s why the team is looking at releasing them or loaning them out.”
Andy Bobwa Boyeli might be the solution to Pirates’s striker problem.
The sources suggest that Orlando Pirates is on a mission to revamp its striking options, with an emphasis on addressing the current goalscoring challenges.
With Kermit Erasmus sidelined due to injury and concerns about the effectiveness of the existing strikers, the club is eyeing a strategic overhaul to inject fresh talent.
