Chidi Vincent Nworji (42) appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 23 May 2024, on charges of alleged drug dealing.
Following intelligence reports of a suspect distributing narcotics around Alexander Street in Berea, a team from the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation and the Tactical Response Team (TRT) conducted surveillance and apprehended Nworji.
His silver Honda was intercepted as he was leaving the Plumridge flats, leading to the discovery of various drugs during the search.

The case has been adjourned to Thursday, 30 May 2024, pending verification of Nworji’s status in the country and to allow for further investigation.
