Ngannou plots huge comeback after being stunned by the heavy punches of Joshua

After suffering a heavy defeat to Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia, Francis Ngannou has made it clear that he has no intentions of walking away from boxing.

The 37-year-old fighter, who now has two losses in two boxing matches, has dismissed any talk of permanently returning to MMA.

In a post-fight interview, Ngannou expressed his determination to continue in the boxing world despite his recent setback.

“You can be sure I’m not done here. It wasn’t my day. He was way better than me today,” Ngannou said. “It sucks but it’s the game. We all know that.”

The Cameroonian fighter faced a tough challenge in the ring against the formidable Anthony Joshua, who delivered a destructive performance that ultimately led to Ngannou’s defeat.

Just four months ago, Ngannou had taken WBC champion Tyson Fury to 10 rounds in a narrow loss, showcasing his fighting spirit and skill.

Ngannou’s transition from MMA to professional boxing has been met with mixed results, but he remains determined to prove himself in the sport.

Having previously built his fighting career in the UFC as a heavyweight champion, Ngannou is now focused on making his mark in the world of boxing.
