Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi was impressed with Samkelo Zwane’s impact in their Carling Knockout Cup game against SuperSport United on Saturday.

After the match, Nabi encouraged fans to keep an eye on the young midfielder’s development.

What did Nabi say

“It’s true that Zwane has been working hard in the past few months, and we believe that he has improved because before, there were some tactical issues and concentration because he’s still young,”

Nabi said after the game, as quoted by KickOff.

“Sometimes he would want to do unnecessary things, but it’s through games like this that our young players will grow,” the Tunisian mentor added.

“Not only him, but Mduduzi Shabalala, Wandile Duba, and Mfundo Vilakazi.

We believe that it’s a capital investment for the club to have those players coming from the academy, and we need to show that all those players are going to have a chance if they prove themselves,” Nabi concluded.
