Murdered Woman’s Bullet-Riddled Body Tragically Found in Durban

In a heartbreaking incident, the lifeless body of a woman was discovered in the driver’s seat of a car in Newlands East, Durban, on Monday morning.

Paramedics from ALS Paramedics responded to a shooting incident at the John Dory’s Sports ground, where the South African Police Services (SAPS) were already present, securing the area.

Garrith Jamieson, a spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, reported that the shooting is believed to have occurred in the early hours of Monday morning.

The victim, a woman approximately 35 years old, was found in the driver’s seat with multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite the paramedics’ efforts, there was nothing more that could be done, and the woman was declared deceased at the scene.

“The events leading up to the shooting were unknown and would be subject to a police investigation,” Jamieson stated.

Provincial police spokesperson Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo confirmed that a murder case was being investigated.

Aftermath of the Murder

The motive behind the tragic incident remains unknown.

This unfortunate event follows another shooting incident last Wednesday, where a woman lost her life in an alleged domestic dispute on Tyrone Road in Padfield Park, Pinetown.

Paramedics discovered the victim inside a house, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the woman was declared deceased at the scene.

As investigations unfold, the communities affected by these tragic incidents grapple with the shock and sadness surrounding the untimely loss of lives.
