MK party member shot and killed in KZN

KwaZulu-Natal police are currently probing the tragic shooting incident that claimed the life of uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK) member, Vusumuzi “Blesser” Ndlovu, in Umlazi.

The incident, which occurred on Saturday night, is believed to be a politically motivated attack targeting the MK Party’s coordinator in eThekwini.

Reports suggest that Ndlovu was ambushed by unidentified gunmen as he was returning from an MK Party meeting.

The senseless killing has sent shockwaves through the community and raised concerns about the safety and security of political activists in the region.

Police spokesperson Thenjiswa Ngcobo confirmed that investigations are underway into the shooting of the 43-year-old MK Party member.

Ngcobo stated, “The deceased was allegedly shot and killed at a hostel in Umlazi. The deceased was with a friend when he was murdered in the parking lot.”

The circumstances surrounding the attack and the identity of the assailants remain under scrutiny as authorities work to unravel the details of the tragic incident.

The uMkhonto we Sizwe party has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Ndlovu and confirmed that he was fatally shot, while also revealing that five additional members sustained injuries in the shooting.
