Lorch and Pule set to return to match squad

Orlando Pirates players, Thembinkosi Lorch and Vincent Pule are almost back. The two stars will also have extra time to recover before the next game.

In the Bucs‘ 2-0 victory over TS Galaxy on Saturday, Lorch and Pule were noticeably missing from the starting lineup.

While Pule picked up a knock in the previous game against Maritzburg United, Lorch missed his fourth game since suffering an injury against SuperSport United last month.

The medical staff of the club will use the upcoming weeks to prepare the two stars for a potential return to the team as the Bucs prepare to play their next game next month.

On the weekend of October 1-2, Orlando Pirates is anticipated to play Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-final. The team’s next league match is scheduled for October 4 against Sekhukhune United. By then, it is anticipated that the injury list will have improved.

Goodman Mosele, a pivotal middle fielder for the Soweto Giants, has served his two-match suspension and is now eligible to rejoin the matchday squad, which is fantastic news for the team.
