KZN woman whose body was found in a shallow grave identified as ‘MaDlomo’ who went missing in 2020
After a harrowing three-year wait, the family of Nontobeko Fikelephi “MaDlomo” Ntombela can finally lay her to rest.
DNA results have confirmed the identity of the 31-year-old KwaZulu-Natal woman, whose remains were discovered in a shallow grave near her home in 2020.
MaDlomo was initially reported missing, leaving her loved ones in agonizing uncertainty.
The grim discovery of her body, buried next to a pit toilet at the residence she shared with her husband, sent shockwaves through the community and ignited a quest for justice.
Her husband, the prime suspect in the case, is currently facing charges for her murder.
With the DNA confirmation providing closure, the family can now proceed with funeral arrangements and begin the process of healing.
