Kylian Mbappe now has doubts about moving to Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe’s potential move to Real Madrid is now uncertain, as the Paris Saint-Germain star reportedly has doubts about the club’s offer.

The 25-year-old French striker has been linked to a move away from Parc des Princes, with the Bernabeu being touted as his next destination.

Recent reports had suggested that Mbappe had already agreed to a deal with Real Madrid for the upcoming season.

However, PSG is hoping to convince Mbappe to stay by offering him a new contract.

They are not convinced that Real Madrid’s offer will be enough to lure their superstar away.

The Athletic claims that Madrid’s proposal was lower than what they had initially offered back in May 2022.

As a result, Mbappe is still undecided about the move.

Despite the uncertainty, if Mbappe does sign a new deal with Real Madrid, he is set to become the highest-paid player in the squad.

Reports suggest that he was offered a £110 million signing bonus and a salary of £22 million per year in 2022 when negotiations began.

PSG is not willing to back down and has offered Mbappe both long-term and short-term deals to entice him to stay in Paris.

This means that he could potentially continue earning his current salary of £63 million after tax, with the possibility of additional bonuses.

The outcome of Mbappe’s decision will have significant implications for both clubs.

Real Madrid sees him as a key addition to their squad, while PSG is determined to retain their star player.

It remains to be seen whether Mbappe will ultimately choose to stay in Paris or make the move to Real Madrid.
