Ernst Middendorp Signs First Player for Cape Town Spurs
Cape Town Spurs have shared news of their first signing under the management of Ernst Middendorp.
The new head coach has enlisted the services of defender Mogamad De Goede to the team defense.
De Goede, is the first addition to the Spurs’ squad as they prepare for the upcoming January transfer window.
He comes in on a free transfer.
However, it’s anticipated that more signings will follow.
The defender left Maritzburg United at the conclusion of the previous season.
Cape Town Spurs currently find themselves at the bottom of the league standings, having collected just four points.
In 15 matches they have had one win, one draw, and 13 defeats.
In this period, the team has scored only 11 goals, conceding a league-high 31.
The team’s next fixture is against Cape Town City FC at Cape Town Stadium on December 31
This is their final match of 2023. Kick-off is set for 15:30.
