Dogs fail to save a Gauteng man as he was kidnapped while taking them for a walk

A family is in a state of shock and anxiety as they await any news regarding the alleged kidnapping of an 85-year-old former businessman in Johannesburg’s Botanical Gardens.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday morning while the man was walking his dogs in the popular park located in Emmarentia.

According to Clive Maher, the owner of SCP Security, the man was allegedly snatched by three individuals and forcibly placed into what appeared to be a white panel van.

Disturbingly, it has been confirmed that the registration of the vehicle was cloned, adding another layer of complexity to the investigation.

The victim is known to frequent the park at around 10 am for his daily walks with his dogs.

The sudden and brazen nature of the incident has left the family devastated and traumatized.

They are desperately seeking answers as to the motive behind the kidnapping.

Maher, in his capacity as the family’s security provider, has been in constant communication with them.

However, as of now, no significant developments have emerged.
