The department of Transport is looking for Unemployed Graduates in various fields to take part in a graduate internship programme for 24 months.

Students will be based at the Department of Transport in South Africa. This will allow graduate interns to get experience and skills in fields they’re interested in.

To be considered for the Graduate internship programme, applicants have to be of a historically disadvantaged background, have graduated from college, and be prepared to undergo a selection process that will include a structured interview.

GRADUATE INTERNS MAY APPLY AS FOLLOWS:

If invited for an interview, successful applicants will need to enter into an agreement with the department, which will involve vetting of qualifications and security screening; applicants who have previously participated in a graduate internship programme will not be considered.

You can obtain the Application for Employment Form on the internet. dpsa.gov is a website. There are vacancies. All fields of the Z83 form must be completed by applicants if they want to sign the application. On the new Z83 you should state the field of study, the region of office, and the internship that you’re applying for. If an application is not completed in full, initialed, and signed, the application will not be considered.

The fully completed and signed Z83 must be accompanied by one of the following: a detailed CV, a copy of the qualifications, and a signed affidavit from a Commissioner of Oaths indicating the person is unemployed and have never participated in an internship programme.

On the day of the interview, if a candidate is not available, they will be qualified for the position if they do not provide the following documentation: Certifications of qualifications, driver’s license, and Identity Document/Permanent Resident.
