Chris Brown responds to backlash to his South Africa concert
Chris Brown seems to not be worried about his upcoming performance in South Africa this December, telling a non-profit group that is urging him to be banned from performing that he “can’t wait to come”.
This comes after Women For Change launched a petition on Instagram, asking the South African government, event organisers, and promoters to reconsider allowing him to perform in Johannesburg on December 14 for his “Breezy in South Africa concert.”

The American singer was not afraid to shy away from the issue, commenting:
“Can’t wait to come” he commented to their post.
His comment has garnered 2,000 likes in just 16 hours.
In response to the Women For Change Instagram post, fans praised Chris Brown for not backing down.
Instagram user @breezys.bestie wrote, “I know that’s f*** right! And those 200,000 people cannot wait to see you there.”
Another user, @thekingtreaty_gbz, added, “lol if they go low, team breezy is gonna go lower.”
User @frvr_br555zy commented, “They can’t stop you with fake petition.”
Many fans were thrilled about Chris Brown’s performance in South Africa, with tickets for the first concert selling out within hours.
However, the announcement also sparked an online debate.
Despite his well-known history of abuse, many fans continue to support him, and he even sold out his event, prompting plans for another one.
The Women For Change petition, started on October 2, has gathered over 31,221 signatures.
It urged Home Affairs to revoke Chris Brown’s visa and prevent him from performing, calling for South Africans to unite against gender-based violence and femicide.
