Chiefs to sign R4 million winger from PSL rivals?

Kaizer Chiefs are now more likely than ever to sign one of the most anticipated players in recent memory, who is worth over R4 million.

According to The South African, the Amakhosi are supposedly very close to signing the brilliant and dynamic Marumo Gallants winger Katlego Otladisa.

The quick forward is one of Arthur Zwane and Amakhosi’s top targets for the next January transfer window.

What an exciting time to support Amakhosi. The Soweto giants are now closer than ever to bringing in Otladisa as their first marquee acquisition.

Additionally, the Orlando Pirates were previously interested in the Gallants winger. However, it appears that Amakhosi intends to sabotage that transaction.

Recent reports confirmed that Amakhosi management has already started talks with the player for a potential January move.

“Don’t rule out another move for a Marumo Gallants player to one of the Soweto giants in January and this time Otladisa is the target. Chiefs are still very interested in the player and there have been talks already about a possible move. It’s highly possible and don’t say I didn’t tell you,” the insider confirmed.

Transfermarkt estimates that Otladisa is currently worth about R4 million (R4.1 million) therefore the probable transfer would cost Amakhosi management quite a little.

The Chiefs elite, however, are already profiling five forwards worth over R11.5 million and an R3 million defender, so this is of little concern to them. Finances at Naturena are obviously not a problem.

Otladisa’s two assists in 12 games this season enabled Bahlabane Ba Ntwa to advance to the CAF Confederation Cup group rounds. With each game, his confidence and stature continue to increase.

These statistics might not astound you, but Otladisa might thrive in the company of people like Yusuf Maart, Njabulo Blom, Keagan Dolly, and Caleb-Bonfils Bimenyimana. He has speed and technique in tide areas, and he plays with passion and joy when he has the ball.
