Cape Town City tipped to unleash former Leicester City star tonight in Nedbank Cup

Cape Town City fans are eagerly anticipating the debut of new midfielder Khanya Leshabela as they gear up to face SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash tonight at 7pm.

The 24-year-old former Leicester City player was officially confirmed as a Citizen on Monday, much to the delight of coach Eric Tinkler and the club’s supporters.

Leshabela, who joins City as a free agent after stints at various English clubs, is expected to bring a wealth of experience and talent to the team.

His addition comes at a crucial time as the club looks to bolster their squad for the season ahead and make a strong push in the Nedbank Cup.

The team’s recent 1-1 draw with Chippa United in the league may have left fans wanting more, but they are hopeful that the arrival of Leshabela could help turn things around.

City will be looking to return to winning ways as they take on a SuperSport side that played to a 1-1 draw with Stellenbosch FC in their last outing.

The match at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium promises to be an exciting encounter, with both teams eager to make their mark in the competition.

City’s fans will be eager to see Leshabela in action and are hopeful that he can make an immediate impact for the team.

As the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash kicks off, all eyes will be on Leshabela as he aims to showcase his skills and help City secure a victory.
