Who paid the R800,000 for the murder of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes?
The police are trying hard to figure out who paid and why AKA was Killed, following the arrest of seven men in connection with the killings of Forbes and his friend, famous chef Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
Last week five of the men appeared in court in Durban. They got in more trouble as they are now also accused of laundering money along with the other serious charges they already had which includes murder and possession of illegal firearms.
One of the suspects involved is a businessman named Mziwethemba Gwabeni. He’s accused of playing a big role in the murder of AKA, a famous rapper from South Africa. It’s said he got paid a lot of money, over R800,000, to set up the rapper’s murder.
According to EWN , the state alleges Gwabeni used his business, Gwabs Mining, to receive the cash and distribute it to the bank accounts of his six co-accused, which includes two men in Eswatini.
