44-year-old man kills his girlfriend aged 70 and buries her like a dog

The Nata community is reeling from the discovery of the badly decomposed body of 70-year-old Dimakatso Mokhutshwane, found in an old manhole.

The Voice reports that the gruesome discovery has left family members and authorities grappling with the heinous crime that has shattered their peace.

Nata Police Station Commander, Superintendent Bopelo Ntatiwa, confirmed that a 44-year-old man, who was the deceased’s boyfriend, has been arrested in connection with the murder.

“The suspect was the deceased’s boyfriend and he is the one who led us to the crime scene,” said Ntatiwa.

The body, wrapped in a blanket and tightly tied with wire, was unearthed late in the evening and buried around 2 am the following day due to its advanced state of decomposition.

The deceased’s family, still reeling from the devastating news, expressed their shock and grief over the loss.

Dimakatso Mokhutshwane’s son, Bafedile Gaeeme, tearfully recounted the agonizing search for his mother, expressing disbelief at the tragic turn of events.

“My mother died a painful death and was buried like a dog,” he lamented.
